电热水燃气锅炉是一种燃烧清洁能源天然气产出热水的工业锅炉，随着国家燃煤整改政策的相继实施，这种锅炉的使用及推广力度逐渐加大。由于锅炉是特种设备，因此为了防止使用中出现安全事故，需要在设计的时候设计安全保护系统。燃气热水锅炉设计有超温、超压、缺水、检漏、熄火等多种保护功能，锅炉运行安全可靠。
1、超温报警和连锁保护装置
超温报警装置这个保护装置一般安装在热水热风炉的出口处，当燃气热风炉水温超过规定的水温时，自动报警，提醒司炉人员采取措施减弱燃烧。超温报警和连锁保护装置连锁后，还能在超温报警的同时，自动切断燃料的供应和停止鼓、引风，以防止热风炉发生超温而导致设备损坏。

3、熄火保护装置
